About Our Client
Our client is seeking an Accountant for a 6-month opportunity.

About the Opportunity

• Prepare periodic financial statements and management reports.
• Monitor project financial performance and assist with forecasting and budgeting.
• Manage accounts receivable activities, including invoicing, collections, and payment processing.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation for receivables, payables, and accruals.
• Provide support for accounts payable functions, including invoice processing, coding, and payments when required.
• Assist with internal and external audit requests.
• Prepare indirect tax filings and related remittances.
• Support the accounting team with a variety of financial and administrative duties.
• Perform additional accounting responsibilities as assigned.

About You

• Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Several years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within property, construction, or project-based industries.
• Experience working with multiple companies or entities is considered an asset.
• Strong proficiency with spreadsheet software and standard office applications.
• Ability to learn new accounting and financial management systems quickly.
• Experience with property management or construction accounting software is an asset.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Capable of managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Professional, adaptable, and committed to maintaining high standards of accuracy and integrity.
