Stapleford Medical Clinic is looking for a Permanent Part-time with the possibility to become full-time Walk-in Medical Office Assistant. This is a job share position working two to three weekdays a week working 8:30-5:00 at the North location and Saturdays 9:00-2:30 at the East location. We offer a competitive wage, health & dental benefits and a pension.
The suitable candidate must be able to work in a very busy environment while maintaining a pleasant outlook. We are looking for someone that can manage a fast pace, is committed to providing exceptional customer service, is caring and compassionate, has excellent communication skills and is willing to go above and beyond and can follow direction accurately. Office Education certificate is preferred but a combination of education and medical/customer service experience will be considered. Experience with Accuro is an asset, but we are willing to train the right individual. Ability to handle multi-line phones is an asset. You must have adequate typing skills and be able to speak and write English fluently. Being a strong team player is essential in this position. Duties will include, but are not limited to:Reception, directing patients, scheduling appointments, and other miscellaneous duties.
Fielding a high volume of phone calls for appointments and inquiries.
Assisting physicians with procedures when required.
Processing forms and payments.
