Waste Diversion Officer

Help shape a more sustainable future by supporting waste reduction, recycling, and diversion initiatives within our community. In this role, you will assist with the development, delivery, monitoring, and promotion of waste management programs, work with stakeholders across public and private sectors, support contract administration, and help educate residents and businesses on responsible waste practices.
What You Bring - Degree or diploma in Science, Engineering, Geography, Administration, Commerce, or a related field- Strong communication and public engagement skills, including presentations and report writing
- Experience with program coordination, contract administration, or environmental initiatives is an asset
