Job Role : Business Analyst

Duration : 5 Months (very high chance to extends)

Location : Toronto, ON (Need to go 2-3 days in week onsite)

Job Description:

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, user stories, use cases, process flows, and functional specifications for regulatory reporting initiatives
• Partner closely with Front Office, Traders, Operations, Technology, and Compliance teams to understand business workflows and ensure accurate regulatory reporting
• Drive regulatory reporting projects involving key regulations such as Consolidated Audit Trail (CAT), Electronic Blue Sheet (EBS), and QFC reporting
• Analyze end-to-end trade lifecycle processes and ensure regulatory reporting requirements are accurately captured, interpreted, and implemented
• Evaluate source systems, identify required data elements, and define data transformation and mapping requirements to support regulatory submissions
• Ensure new business flows, products, and trading activities are reported accurately and in compliance with regulatory obligations
• Create and maintain comprehensive business and technical documentation, including BRDs, FRDs, process diagrams, data lineage, and reporting specifications
• Develop, execute, and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities, including test scenario creation, test execution, defect tracking, and validation of regulatory reporting outputs
• Collaborate with technology and QA teams to validate reporting solutions, ensuring data quality, completeness, accuracy, and regulatory compliance before production release
• Leverage strong regulatory reporting, clearing, and capital markets experience to identify process improvements, mitigate reporting risks, and support ongoing regulatory change initiatives
