QSURJ Editor in Chief (2)
The Queen’s Science Undergraduate Research Journal is an annual, peer-reviewed publication that seeks to enrich the student experience through engagement in the scientific community. Founded in 2015, QSURJ is an open-access journal that allows students to contribute through the systematic review and dissemination of undergraduate research in the scope of the health sciences. The mandate of QSURJ is two-fold: to promote and highlight the remarkable research output of undergraduate students in the Faculty of Arts and Science and to provide support to students aiming to become involved in the undergraduate science research community. QJERS aims to bringing critical racial and ethnic discourses to the forefront of Canadian education through academic engagement at the undergraduate level. We strive to promote a better understanding of race, racialization and settler colonialism by amplifying student voices, giving the community a platform to share their writing, creative expressions and experiences of marginalization.
Applications will remain open until a competitive candidate pool is established. The closing date will be determined based on the volume and quality of received applications .
Time Commitment and Remuneration
12 month-term from May 1st, 2024 to April 30th, 2025 with a time commitment of 4-6 hours/week. If this position is subject to an honorarium, payouts will be in accordance with the Human Resources Honoraria Policy Grid 9.05.02 which can be accessed here:
