Team Lead in Wash Bay Operations

Join us as a Team Lead in Wash Bay Operations, contributing to driver satisfaction and the efficiency of our Maintenance department. Ensure safety and quality in a fast-paced wash bay setting. As the Wash Bay Team Lead, you will oversee daily activities and collaborate closely with the Shop Supervisor. Strong leadership and a commitment to cleanliness and organization will be key to your success. This role requires the ability to prioritize tasks, while building rapport with drivers and your team in an industrial work environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure drivers are greeted courteously and timely
- Manage reefer washouts and track logs properly
- Wash and inspect tractors and trailers thoroughly
- Execute winter checks and maintain vehicle readiness
- Keep wash bay and shop areas clean and organized
- Valid driver’s license (Class 1, 3, or 5)
- Proven customer service experience and leadership
- Capable of managing multiple tasks effectively
- Strong sense of priority planning and organization
- Able to work in challenging outdoor conditions
