Content Specialist (Edits)

We are seeking a highly creative, tech-savvy, and detail-oriented Content Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in refining and polishing websites for our diverse range of customers. Instead of building from scratch, you will leverage advanced AI tools alongside our proprietary platform to optimize, edit, and perfect automated website builds, ensuring they deliver an exceptional user experience (UX) and perfectly represent our clients' brands.

Only candidates based in Central/South America will be considered for this position.

• Uninterrupted Commitment: You must be able to work 8 hours per day, up to 5 days per week.

• Weekend Rotation: Your 5-day week will include one weekend day (either Saturday or Sunday) as required by business volume.

Responsibilities & Tasks to be Performed

As a Content Specialist at UENI, your primary focus will be processing and implementing website edit requests submitted by our customers. You will translate client feedback into professional web design solutions, ensuring every modification improves the overall user experience. You will be responsible for:

• Customer-Driven Edits & Revisions: Review client requests and execute changes to website content, structure, and imagery quickly and accurately, ensuring the final result exceeds customer expectations.

• AI-Enhanced Content Editing: Utilize AI tools to efficiently rewrite, expand, or adjust copy provided by the client, ensuring it remains professional, error-free, and aligned with local SEO best practices.

• UX & Layout Optimization: Evaluate client-requested changes against User Experience (UX) best practices, adjusting layouts and navigation so that the requested edits integrate seamlessly into an intuitive user journey.

• Visual & Brand Alignment: Swap, crop, and curate imagery, modify color schemes, and adjust design elements as requested by the client while maintaining a cohesive, visually appealing brand identity.

• Quality Assurance (QA): Perform rigorous quality checks on all completed edits to ensure the website remains fully responsive across mobile and desktop devices, free of formatting issues, and entirely functional before delivery.

Skills & Competencies

• AI Tool Literacy: Proficiency or high adaptability in using AI generation and editing tools to streamline workflows and improve content quality.

• Web Design & UX Sensibilities: A strong eye for visual hierarchy, white space, typography, and modern web design standards.

• Proficiency with Website Builders: Experience navigating CMS platforms or standard website builders.

• SEO Best Practices: Solid understanding of how to structure copy and metadata for search engine visibility.

• Attention to Detail: An analytical eye capable of spotting layout inconsistencies, broken links, or awkward phrasing.

• Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment where processes continuously evolve.

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. A degree or certification in Web Design, UI/UX, Marketing, or a related field is a major plus.

• Experience: Proven experience in web design, content editing, or digital asset curation.

• Customer Support Background (Plus): Prior experience in customer service, client onboarding, or support ticketing is highly valued, as it helps you understand the end-user’s pain points.

• Language Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Technical Proficiency: Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus.
