Senior Manager, Investment Product Marketing (ETFs)

What You’ll Be Doing

CIBC Global Asset Management is among the largest asset managers in Canada with over $200 billion in assets under management. CIBC Asset Management offers and supports a variety of investment products to meet the needs of investors in the Institutional, Mass, Mid and High Net Worth market segments.

The successful candidate will build and lead the execution of data-informed product marketing strategies for CIBC Global Asset Management’s investment products, specifically exchange traded funds (ETFs). Reporting to the Director, ETF Marketing, the Senior Manager, Product Marketing will be a critical partner across the entire business, working closely with Product, Global Distribution, and the rest of the Wealth Marketing team to bring the right value proposition, positioning, messaging, and channel strategies to life.

Recruitment may discuss a mix of on-site and remote work depending on the role.

Compensation: $105,000 - $115,000 base salary, plus annual discretionary bonus program, and opportunity for progression.

How You’ll Succeed

• Product positioning and messaging: combine complex product information with expert storytelling to craft compelling positioning and messaging of our ETF products in the market.
• Product marketing go-to-market: lead the creation, development, and execution of ETF product marketing projects, including fund launches, product management changes, and opportunistic sales campaigns.
• Campaign development and execution: develop marketing campaigns across owned and paid media, working with internal and external agencies and media partners.
• Relationship and stakeholder management: partner with internal stakeholders to identify marketing opportunities based on insights, market research and other data; build and maintain strong relationships at all levels.
• Measure impact: establish measures of success for marketing campaigns and share progress and insights for optimization.

Who You Are

• Degree specialization in Marketing, Business or Commerce (CFA, CIM, CSC considered an asset).
• 5+ years of marketing experience with investment products (mutual funds, ETFs, managed solutions) and knowledge of media, Morningstar Direct, Seismic, Adobe and Microsoft Office.
• Exceptional communicator and presenter; ability to influence, build narratives, secure buy‑in; detail oriented with regulatory knowledge.
• Owner mindset; highly initiative‑driven, can prioritize and deliver multiple projects; manage agency scope, budgets and invoicing.
• Values alignment: trust, teamwork, accountability.
