Data Engineering Team Lead At Apertera Montreal

Apertera

Shape the future of language solutions as Data Engineering Team Lead at Apertera. Drive data strategies while ensuring optimized asset management and seamless integration into translation workflows. As the technical lead, you will manage a diverse team at the intersection of Big Data and AI technologies. You will enhance data usability and accessibility, promote collaboration between data and localization teams, and oversee the creation and maintenance of data strategies to directly contribute to high‑quality translation services. Lead creative data solutions for Apertera’s translation services and make an impact.

Responsibilities

Define architecture for enterprise data warehouse
Oversee data cataloging and governance mechanisms
Develop interfaces for effective data interaction
Manage Translation Memories and integrate into workflows
Create pipelines for data preparation for Generative AI models

Qualifications

5+ years in Data Engineering, including leadership roles
Expertise in SQL, Python, and ETL
Knowledge of AI/ML and its integration in data processes
Familiarity with TM workflows and CAT tools
Experience deploying internal tools for data democratization
