Guidewire Integration Developer

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain integrations between Guidewire PolicyCenter and external systems using Guidewire Cloud APIs and Integration Gateway.
- Implement and customize Guidewire Cloud solutions using Gosu, RESTful APIs, and integration plugins.
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and QA teams to translate functional requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Participate in end-to-end implementation and migration projects involving Guidewire Cloud upgrades, system integrations, and third-party services.
- Develop reusable components, service orchestration flows, and scalable API connectors to integrate PolicyCenter with digital platforms, payment gateways, third-party data providers, and core insurance systems.
- Ensure all integration points follow Guidewire best practices for cloud security, performance, and compliance.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and support existing integration pipelines using logging, observability, and cloud-native tools.
- Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
Requirements
Required Skills & Experience:
1.Guidewire Cloud
- Strong understanding of the Guidewire Cloud Platform architecture, deployment models, and operational services.
- Experience with cloud-native features such as containerized deployments, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions), and Guidewire DevConnect.
- Hands-on experience with Guidewire Edge APIs, Messaging Infrastructure, and cloud microservices.
2.Guidewire Cloud APIs
- Deep understanding of Guidewire RESTful APIs, authentication mechanisms (OAuth2), and API lifecycle management.
- Experience developing and consuming Cloud APIs for core insurance functionalities (quote/bind/issue/renew).
- Expertise in designing API proxies, gateways, and middleware logic to route and transform requests securely.
3.Integration Gateway
- Proven experience building integrations via Integration Gateway including:
- Messaging & Event Handling
- Web Service Integration (SOAP/REST)
- Plugin development (Gosu, Java)
- Ability to handle asynchronous communication, error handling, retries, and policy transactions through external systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in P&C Insurance domain (especially Commercial and Personal Lines)
- Familiarity with Guidewire Digital Portals and Edge API consumption
- Hands-on experience with tools like Postman, Swagger, JIRA, Git, Splunk
- Knowledge of modern integration patterns using Mulesoft, Kafka, or Azure Integration Services
