Senior Captive Insurance Accountant

Lead captive insurance accounting for Aon, overseeing client financial reporting and regulatory filings in a hybrid or remote role. Burlington, Vermont is preferred.As a Senior Accountant, you will lead client service teams supporting captive insurance companies and Fortune 500 clients. You will manage financial reporting, coordinate specialists, and communicate with regulators. The work includes collaboration across risk management, corporate controllership, tax, and legal departments.Key Responsibilities:
Oversee financial reporting for client account portfoliosLead teams delivering timely financial reporting and filingsMentor and develop accounting team membersCoordinate actuaries, auditors, brokers, and investment managersPresent materials during client board meetingsRequirements:
Bachelor of Accounting degree or captive insurance experiencePrior captive management experience is highly desirableReinsurance accounting experience is preferableAbility to lead financial services professionalsAbility to implement accounting and regulatory requirementsBring captive insurance accounting, client leadership, and regulatory reporting expertise to Aon's global Captive and Insurance Management team.
