Job Description
We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our team in Timmins, ON. Mon to Fri 8 am to 5pm. As a labourer you will play a vital role in our daily operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on work.
What You’re Responsible For:
- Operating torch cutting equipment to process and prepare scrap materials safely and efficiently
- Draining fluids from end-of-life vehicles in accordance with environmental and safety procedures
- Sorting and processing various types of wire and mine loads to maximize material recovery and value
- Identifying, separating, and organizing non-ferrous and ferrous materials
- Loading, unloading, and moving materials and equipment using forklifts and other site equipment as required
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work area while following all company health and safety policies
- Assisting with general yard operations and other duties as assigned to support daily production activities
Qualifications
To join our team:
- You have previous experience operating a forklift
- You have previous experience in metal recycling or an industrial environment
- You are comfortable working indoors/outdoors in all weather conditions
- You are physical fit and able to perform repetitive lifting up to 50lbs
- You are able to work well in a team and on your own
