Founded in 2011 by His Majesty King Charles III, The King’s Trust Canada (TKTC) is a national charity that helps young people build the skills, networks, and experiences they need to live, learn, and earn. Reporting to the Director, Programming, the Senior Manager, Impact and Evaluation provides leadership in the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of TKTC’s impact measurement, evaluation, data systems, reporting, and learning practices. The role ensures that program decisions, organizational priorities, and strategic planning are informed by high-quality data, evidence, participant outcomes, and sector insights.

The Senior Manager leads impact frameworks, evaluation activities, reporting processes, data systems, dashboards, and evidence-generation practices across TKTC’s programs. Working collaboratively and cross-functionally, the role strengthens organizational accountability, learning, continuous improvement, and evidence-informed decision-making.

Please Note: This full-time role has a hiring range of $80,000 – $90,000 and includes an employee benefits program and three (3) weeks’ vacation, plus winter closure.

This is a hybrid role requiring three (3) days per week at our downtown Toronto office. Occasional work outside standard hours, including attendance at evening or weekend events, may be required. Occasional travel within the GTA/across Canada may be required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Impact Measurement & Evaluation

• Develop, implement, and refine impact measurement and evaluation frameworks, indicators, methodologies, tools, and reporting standards across TKTC’s programs.
• Lead evaluation activities, participant feedback mechanisms, surveys, assessments, and outcome measurement processes that capture program effectiveness and participant experience.
• Establish performance measures and reporting frameworks aligned with organizational priorities, funder requirements, King’s Trust Group reporting, and TKTC’s Strategic Plan.
• Analyze participant, program, and outcome data to assess reach, relevance, quality, and impact across program areas.
• Strengthen consistent evaluation practices across Programming through clear tools, guidance, documentation, and quality standards.

Data Systems, Reporting & Evidence Management

• Lead the development, maintenance, and improvement of participant registration, data collection, reporting, dashboard, and evidence-management systems.
• Oversee data quality, validation, cleaning, documentation standards, and reporting processes to ensure information is accurate, timely, accessible, and usable.
• Manage and improve CRM, database, survey, reporting, and digital tools used to support program data, evaluation, and organizational reporting.
• Develop templates, dashboards, trackers, and reports that support program operations, organizational planning, funder requirements, and internal decision-making.
• Ensure appropriate stewardship, confidentiality, security, and governance of participant, program, and organizational data.

Strategic Insights & Program Improvement

• Translate data, evaluation findings, participant feedback, and sector insights into practical recommendations that strengthen program design, delivery, and outcomes.
• Partner with program leads to embed evidence, learning, and continuous improvement into program planning, refinement, scaling, and implementation.
• Identify trends, risks, gaps, and opportunities across program areas to support decision-making, resource planning, and strategic priorities.
• Contribute to organizational KPIs, performance measures, strategic plan tracking, and reporting against reach, engagement, and impact goals.
• Support evidence-informed planning across program areas and emerging organizational priorities.

Impact Reporting & Organizational Insights

• Develop impact reports, summaries, dashboards, and evidence-based materials that support organizational reporting, planning, accountability, and learning.
• Provide impact data, analysis, and evaluation findings to support funder reporting, donor stewardship, grant applications, annual reporting, communications, and stakeholder engagement led by relevant departments.
• Support reporting requirements for King's Trust Group, Board and Committee materials, strategic plan updates, leadership discussions, all-staff presentations, and other internal or external stakeholders, as required.
• Translate complex data and evaluation findings into clear, credible, and accessible insights for internal leadership, program teams, funders, partners, and external audiences.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure impact reporting is coordinated, accurate, timely, and aligned with organizational priorities and messaging.

Sector Practice, Innovation & Organizational Learning

• Monitor trends, best practices, technologies, and methodologies in impact measurement, evaluation, learning, nonprofit data systems, and youth economic inclusion.
• Identify and integrate innovative approaches, tools, and technologies that strengthen data collection, analysis, visualization, reporting, and organizational learning.
• Build staff capacity in data collection, reporting, evaluation, evidence use, and learning practices through guidance, resources, and training.
• Facilitate reflection, knowledge sharing, and evidence-informed learning across departments to support adaptive decision-making and continuous improvement.
• Contribute to a culture of accountability, curiosity, transparency, inclusion, and participant-centered decision-making.

General Duties

• Collaborate cross-functionally to advance shared organizational goals, strengthen operational alignment, and support coordinated organizational initiatives.
• Strengthen internal operations through documentation practices, scalable systems, project coordination, and continuous improvement.
• Support the Programming department with updates, materials, reports, and recommendations, as required.
• Represent TKTC professionally in internal and external interactions as an ambassador for our mission and values.
• Provide oversight to current or future direct reports, interns, students, contractors, or volunteers contributing to the department or organization.
• Support organization-wide events and initiatives, including occasional on-site setup, teardown, coordination, and related logistical support.
• Perform other duties or special projects, as assigned, to support departmental or organizational priorities.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES

Qualifications

• Degree/post-secondary training in evaluation, social sciences, research, public policy, data analytics, nonprofit management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 5–7 years of progressive experience in impact measurement, monitoring and evaluation, research, data analysis, reporting, or related functions.
• French language skills considered an asset.
• Experience designing and implementing evaluation frameworks, outcome measurement approaches, surveys, assessments, dashboards, and reporting processes.
• Experience managing participant data, Raiser's Edge NXT or other CRM/database platforms, reporting systems, data quality processes, and documentation standards.
• Experience translating data and evaluation findings into actionable recommendations, reports, insights, and decision-support materials.
• Experience working within nonprofit, charitable, educational, workforce development, youth-serving, or mission-driven organizations considered an asset.
• Eligibility to work in Canada.
