Senior Estimator Edmonton

Taylor Ryan is seeking a senior estimator for three of our General Contractor clients. These companies have offices in Calgary and in Edmonton, so we welcome applications from either city.

What You'll Do
- Estimating & Proposal Preparation – Prepare accurate estimates, quantity takeoffs, unit pricing, and subcontractor/supplier pricing. Develop risk mitigation plans and ensure proposals are completed and submitted on time.
- Subcontractor & Supplier Management – Solicit, review, and level subcontractor and material supply quotes while maintaining robust industry relationships and an updated pricing database.
- Collaboration & Client Engagement – Participate in client meetings, project interviews, and team discussions. Work closely with engineers, architects, and owners to refine cost estimates and recommendations.
- Training & Development – Mentor junior staff, assist in team training, maintain career progression, and update estimating software as needed.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of estimating experience within a General Contractor.
- Experience working on bids for ICI projects valued at $25M or more.
- Experience mentoring and assisting junior estimators.
- Experience with multiple construction methodologies (LEAN, IPD, Self Perform, CM, etc.).
