Marketing Director - Carbonated Soft Drinks Innovation & Planning (1 Year Contract)

We are looking to hire a Marketing Director to lead our Carbonated Soft Drink (CSD) Innovation & Planning and oversee the growth of our brands including Pepsi, 7UP, Mountain DEW and MUG.

A change leader and influencer, this role will build a strategic vision, set the agenda and ensure strength of execution to deliver both short-term and long-term results.

• Lead the strategic planning process (Strat Plan and Bus Review) ensuring it is robust and consumer validated
• Lead commercialization of new innovation platforms through evaluation and financial assessment of the operational/manufacturing footprint across the different brands/businesses
• Wire and collaborate with the US Brand teams and Global Markets to ensure shared learning and strategic alignment for growth maximization
• Collaborate strategically with cross functional teams with Sales Strategy, Food Service and Shopper Marketing teams
• Own and lead the marketing planning process for our CSD portfolio ensuring the delivery of superior consumer marketing activity
• Lead the ready-to-drink alcohol partnership with Labatt to drive growth for SVNS Hard 7UP
• Build and inspire strong local agency relationships to deliver breakthrough plans for the flavour portfolio (Mountain Dew, 7UP)
• Coach, motivate and lead team of 4 marketers, including 2 direct reports
• Play an active role on the MLT (Marketing Leadership Team) and support department engagement and org health initiatives

• Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree (Business degree preferred)
• 10+ years’ experience in consumer packaged goods marketing
• Demonstrated ability to win through superior consumer marketing
• Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders and influence at all levels
• Proven ability to lead agency relationships to achieve gold standard results
• Business savvy and an opportunity seeker
