Elevate your culinary skills as a Full-Time Chef at Vaticano Restaurant in Toronto, Ontario. This permanent position emphasizes recipe creation and kitchen supervision across various shifts including evenings and weekends. Vaticano Restaurant is seeking a skilled chef with 2 to 3 years of experience in food preparation and kitchen management. You will maintain food costs and inventory, train cooking staff, and plan menus that meet quality standards. Your leadership will guide sous-chefs and cooks in meal preparation and service during all restaurant operations. Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain records for food costs and inventory
• Create and demonstrate new cooking techniques to staff
• Prepare complete meals for events and banquets
• Train staff in cooking, garnishing, and food handling
• Plan menus to ensure quality and taste standards Requirements:
• Secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
• 2 to 3 years of culinary experience
• Proficient in English communication
• Authorization to work in Canada is mandatory
