Full-Time Property Accountant Vancouver

Join a dynamic team as a full-time Property Accountant in Vancouver, BC, for a one-year contract. Focus on delivering accurate financials for residential and commercial accounts. This role reports directly to the Controller of Properties and involves producing timely monthly and annual financial statements. You will collaborate with Property Managers and the Leasing Team to assess financial reporting needs and assist in budget preparation while monitoring variances. Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements per client requirements
• Communicate regularly with Property Managers for financial insights
• Assist in annual budget preparation and variance monitoring
• Ensure quality control in Accounts Payable and Receivable
• Manage cash flow and identify potential financial issues Requirements:
• 3-4 years of property accounting experience
• College diploma or certificate in Accounting
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Understanding of Yardi 7 software
• Strong organizational and time management skills Leverage your accounting expertise to deliver accurate financial reports in a vibrant Vancouver setting.
