Lead Android Developer Financial Sector Toronto

Join UST as a Lead Android Developer to enhance one of Canada’s top banking applications from our Toronto office. Bring cutting-edge solutions to life using your extensive Android skills. In this senior role, you will work closely with a major financial institution, developing enhancements for their banking app. Your responsibilities will include coding, testing, and collaborating within an agile team while mentoring junior developers. A robust background of at least 5 years in native Android development and a robust grasp of Java is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop solutions addressing complex software issues
- Analyze requirements to suggest improvements
- Conduct code reviews and adhere to coding standards
- Stay current with Android capabilities and best practices
- Guide product decisions with partnered stakeholders
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years Android application development
- 3+ years of experience in Java programming
- Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming principles
- Experience in automated testing frameworks
- Solid communication skills
