Fidelity Clearing Canada (FCC) is the leading independent clearing broker and custodian in the Canadian market, providing trade execution, clearing, custody and back‑office support services to Canadian‑based brokerage firms and the Canadian brokerage arms of U.S.‑based firms. What You Will Do

The Appian Developer at FCC will develop and enhance client‑facing Appian applications, building new features and improving existing key business platforms using the latest technologies. Responsibilities

Design, code, test, debug, and document process workflows based on Appian Technology to meet specific business requirements. Ensure functional specifications are implemented technically, focusing on robustness, performance and reliability. Collaborate with internal and external user groups and work effectively in an agile environment. Qualifications

University degree or college diploma in Computer Science or an equivalent field. 3–7 years of experience building enterprise workflows using the Appian Platform. Experience in web development with an emphasis on Service‑Oriented Architecture. In‑depth knowledge of Appian SAIL, Process Modeler, Rules, Expressions, Documents, Knowledge Center, and complex data types (XSDs and SQL queries). Proficiency with SQL and database platforms such as Oracle or MariaDB. Hands‑on experience with Agile methodology and the Atlassian stack (JIRA, Confluence). Excellent analytical, conceptual and problem‑solving skills with strong attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication abilities. Good multitasking capabilities and ability to thrive in an agile setting. Preferred: experience with DocuSign, wealth management, brokerage or financial services; completion of the Canadian Securities Course; Appian Certification. Total Rewards

Base Salary and discretionary performance bonus with an annual range of $105,000 to $140,000, based on experience and qualifications. After 6 months, the company will contribute to an RRSP without requiring employee matching. Benefits
