Medical Science Liaison, Specialty Care Quebec Atlantic

AbbVie seeks a Medical Science Liaison for its Quebec Atlantic territory to build relationships with healthcare experts and disseminate scientific information about assigned therapeutic areas. The role involves supporting clinical research, delivering presentations, and attending scientific conferences while maintaining credibility in the medical community.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scientific knowledge to support credible information sharing with external experts and healthcare professionals
- Participate in and follow up on investigator-initiated studies, clinical studies, and medical projects within assigned therapeutic areas
- Deliver scientific presentations on medical matters to healthcare professionals individually or in groups
- Identify and engage qualified healthcare professionals for collaborative research, advisory boards, and educational events
- Attend scientific conferences and meetings; summarize key data presented
Requirements
- Advanced degree: Doctorate, PharmD, or MD
- Biotech or pharmaceutical industry experience; prior MSL role preferred
- Customer-facing healthcare industry experience
- Ability to interpret scientific and clinical research publications
- Knowledge of clinical research methods and regulatory controls
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and comfort with technology
- Valid driver's license and passport; 50% travel required
