Medical Science Liaison, Field-based, Canada (French-Speaking)

Field-based Medical Science Liaison role at Thermo Fisher Scientific's Binding Site division, providing scientific and clinical education to laboratory and healthcare customers across Canada. The position involves building key opinion leader relationships, delivering presentations, representing products at conferences, and supporting commercial and product development initiatives in specialty diagnostics.
Responsibilities
- Serve as primary scientific liaison between Binding Site and laboratory customers, providing support and fostering collaborations
- Deliver virtual and in-person presentations to key opinion leaders, clinicians, laboratory directors, and executives
- Develop and execute key opinion leader strategy across Canadian territory to support scientific and commercial objectives
- Represent Binding Site at regional and national trade shows and scientific conferences
- Provide internal teams with customer feedback and scientific expertise to inform product development and marketing strategy
Requirements
- Advanced degree (PhD, MD) in clinical or life sciences discipline
- 1+ years experience in healthcare, life sciences, or diagnostic industry
- Clinical, hospital, or laboratory environment experience
- Fluency in French and English, written and verbal
- Proven ability to deliver scientific presentations and write manuscripts
- Proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Willingness to travel 25-75%, including occasional international travel
Compensation: $83,300–$124,925 annualized in Quebec
