Senior Manager, Market Access & Government Affairs, Oncology, Quebec & Atlantic

AbbVie seeks a Senior Manager to lead government affairs and market access strategy for oncology products across Quebec and Atlantic Canada. The role involves developing regional policy strategies, securing reimbursement with provincial payers, and building relationships with government decision-makers and healthcare stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute regional government affairs and market access strategies for Quebec and Atlantic Canada
- Secure and maintain optimal reimbursement for oncology products with provincial payers and cancer agencies
- Build and manage relationships with government officials, policymakers, payers, and healthcare influencers
- Monitor legislation and regulations; identify barriers and opportunities; recommend timely policy responses
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated engagement and evidence submission plans
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, commerce, science, public policy, health administration, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in government affairs, market access, health policy, or related sectors
- Demonstrated success influencing legislation, regulation, or public reimbursement decisions
- Deep knowledge of Canadian healthcare, provincial drug plans, and reimbursement processes
- Experience engaging senior stakeholders and payers in Quebec and Atlantic Canada
- Understanding of health economics, pharmacoeconomics, and outcomes research
- Exceptional stakeholder management, policy analysis, and strategic planning skills
