Senior Accountant – US GAAP Conversion (Contract) Duration: 6–10 Months About the Opportunity Assist with the conversion of financial reporting to U.S. GAAP. Lead accounting analysis related to lease accounting and related disclosures. Prepare technical accounting memos documenting management's accounting positions and conclusions. Research and interpret U.S. GAAP guidance and assess impacts on financial reporting. Support the preparation of opening balance sheet adjustments and accounting policy updates. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather information and validate accounting treatments. Assist with audit requests and technical accounting discussions. Support project timelines and deliverables throughout the conversion process. About You CPA designation preferred. 3-5 years of progressive financial reporting experience. Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting requirements. Previous experience supporting U.S. GAAP conversions is highly desirable. Hands-on experience with lease accounting preferred. Strong technical accounting research and memo-writing skills. Ability to work independently in a project-based environment. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
