Join Fraser Health as a Hospitalist at Eagle Ridge Hospital, providing exceptional inpatient care with partial off-site specialty support. This role offers both full-time and part-time opportunities and focuses on managing acutely ill patients. As a Hospitalist, you will handle admissions, care, and discharge planning as the Most Responsible Physician (MRP). You will collaborate with an inter-professional team that includes physicians, nurse practitioners, and allied health staff. Participation in day, evening, and overnight coverage will also be integral to your schedule. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage admissions, care, and discharge planning for patients
- Provide supportive care for surgical and specialty patients
- Collaborate seamlessly with the healthcare team
- Participate in scheduled day, evening, and overnight shifts
- Licensed or eligible for licensure with CPSBC
- FRCPC, CCFP, or equivalent credentials
- Certification in ACLS is recommended
- Experience in hospital medicine preferred
- Familiarity with rural medicine is an asset
