Become a full-time Dermatologist with Fraser Health at Eagle Ridge Hospital, specializing in outpatient care and education for the Tri-Cities community. Mentor future medical professionals while you practice. Fraser Health Authority is actively seeking three full-time Dermatologists to enhance dermatology services for the Tri-Cities areas of Port Moody, Coquitlam, and Port Coquitlam. Your responsibilities will include providing mostly outpatient care, as well as consulting services for inpatients at Eagle Ridge Hospital. Obtaining a Clinical Faculty appointment at the University of British Columbia and mentoring medical trainees will also be vital parts of this role. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized outpatient dermatological care to community members
- Provide consulting services for hospitalized patients at ERH
- Obtain Clinical Faculty appointment with UBC for educational purposes
- Mentor and supervise medical trainees in dermatology
- Collaborate with colleagues for comprehensive patient care
- Valid FRCPC certification in Dermatology
- Commitment to community service in dermatology
- Experience in teaching or mentorship is advantageous
- Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment
- Strong patient care and communication skills
