Serve the North Shore community as a Temporary Emergency Physician with Vancouver Coastal Health. Full-time and part-time roles available, supporting diverse patient needs at Lions Gate Hospital. Vancouver Coastal Health seeks multiple Temporary Emergency Physicians to join the Lions Gate Hospital Emergency Physician Association. Our team offers full-time and part-time options, with a preference for full-time candidates. You will gain valuable experience in pediatrics, acute medicine, and geriatrics while working in a level 3 trauma center, associated with UBC’s Department of Emergency Medicine. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide emergency care to a diverse patient population
- Collaborate in a supportive and collegial environment
- Participate in mentorship and training programs for junior staff
- Engage in safety rounds, trauma rounds, and journal clubs
- Teach medical students and residents in emergency medicine
- ACLS and ATLS certifications – Mandatory
- Current CPSBC registration required
- Experience in emergency medicine is essential
- CCFP(EM) certification necessary
- FRCPC eligibility preferred
