National Corporate Security Manager (Contract)

Job Summary

As a National Corporate Security Manager, you will protect PwC Canada from physical security threats by leading risk assessment programs, ensuring compliance with standards, and enabling business operations through practical security solutions. You will develop and implement policies, training, and reporting to enhance the firm’s resilience and preparedness.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Security Threat and Risk Program, systematically identifying security risks and recommending cost‑effective remediation strategies.
• Align risk assessment methodology and guidance with Network Standards, execute assessments, and act on results.
• Review PwC hosted events to ensure appropriate security controls are in place to mitigate security and safety concerns.
• Provide in‑person physical security support to event planners for PwC hosted events when required.
• Develop and maintain security‑related policies, standards, and guidelines, ensuring ongoing compliance.
• Establish and oversee a quality assurance program to monitor and enhance security program effectiveness.
• Develop and maintain operational reports, gathering key metrics to monitor program growth and resilience.
• Inform leadership of trends, emerging threats, and mitigation recommendations to drive continuous improvement.
• Monitor public and social platforms for physical/life safety threats, reputational risks, and emerging trends near firm assets.
• Assist with investigations, emergency management planning, international travel reviews, and special security projects as required.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands‑on experience in physical security management and Security Threat and Risk Assessment Methodology.
• Advanced understanding of physical security concepts, technologies, and open‑source investigation techniques.
• Technical knowledge in developing and enhancing operational reports.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Power Automate and Power BI for workflow automation, process optimization, and data visualization.
• Experience in leading investigations, conducting interviews, and supporting executive protection.
• Excellent discretion, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to perform effectively in challenging situations.
• Experience with business continuity management and travel security risk management is an asset.
• Security industry related diploma or degree, and certifications such as CPP, PSP, APP or CPTED, are considered assets.

Language Requirements

When applying to a Quebec‑based opportunity, fluency in French is required. Outside of Quebec, fluency in French is an asset.

Contract Details

This is a 6‑month full‑time contract opportunity. The role supports a hybrid work environment and ensures continuity following the departure of a valued team member.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $80,100 – $133,600, reflecting expected hiring ranges for PwC locations in major city centres. Base salary is determined by skills, experience, qualifications, and work location. Eligible employees may participate in variable incentive pay programs designed to reward individual and firm‑wide achievements.
