Floor Coordinator

Ashley Canada is currently seeking a Floor Coordinator for our St. Catharines store located at 285 Geneva St.

As The Floor Coordinator You Will

• Receive product, product returns, accessories and supplies and prepare outbound shipments.
• Prepare product for delivery or floor placement.
• Load and unload freight trailers.
• Ensure the store floor inventory is at capacity by category and per established goals.
• Create and manage transfers of product in and out of store.
• Update reports with storage location, available inventory, and open transfer reports.
• Hire and oversees the in-store warehouse operations including supervision of warehouse staff.
• Assists visual presentation team when in-store on display set-ups.
• Prints and maintains floor tags, set up P.O.P. (Point of Purchase).
• Maintains cleanliness of store and grounds.
• Assists with quarterly inventory counts/reconciliations.
• Other duties as required.

As a Successful Candidate You Will Have The Following

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent skills and experience is preferred.
• One to two years of experience in inventory or warehouse.
• High attention to detail.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and ability to learn in-house computer programs.
• Ability to work during retail hours (days, evenings, weekends, and holidays).
• Be physically fit, able to lift and move objects up to 100 pounds.
• Safety footwear is required.
• Criminal Record Check is required.
