Lead Counsel for Legal and Compliance

In this pivotal role, you will partner with leaders throughout North America and globally, delivering legal advice and policy improvements that support business growth and sustainability. You will help manage external counsel, lead training initiatives, and provide proactive solutions for compliance challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide legal and compliance guidance to international business units
• Build strategic partnerships with business leaders
• Manage external legal counsel efficiently and cost-effectively
• Support M&A projects and internal investigations
• Deliver training on legal and compliance matters
Requirements:
• Law degree, licensed in Canada or USA
• 7+ years of international legal experience
• Knowledge of food law is an asset
• Proficiency in legal technology, including CLM systems
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
