Job Responsibility:
Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role is essential for the smooth operation of our financial processes and will support the overall financial health of the organization.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks and Xero.
- Process accounts receivable, ensuring timely invoicing and collections.
- Perform account reconciliation to verify the accuracy of financial statements.
- Manage payroll processing, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and timely payments to employees.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities to support financial planning.
- Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support business decisions.
- Prepare reports for management that summarize financial status and performance metrics.
- Perform mass clean-up for new clients
- Assist in Tax Preparation
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
- Proficiency in accounting software, particularly QuickBooks and Xero.
- Strong understanding of accounts receivable processes and account reconciliation techniques.
- Experience with payroll processing is preferred.
- Familiarity with budgeting practices and account analysis methodologies.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey financial information.
