Roles and responsibilities

We are currently looking to hire a Full time Service Delivery Worker (Scheduler) role in the Durham Region.

Duties include the following:

• Using the electronic Quatro Scheduling system, the SDW will develop and revise ongoing master schedules for both client and staff in accordance with the consumer service and budgeted hours.
• Provide hours of service monthly reports to Supervisor.
• Ensure client-focused service delivery and refer service complaints or compliments to supervisor for follow-up.
• Answer calls and update changes to the schedule in real-time during business hours or while on-call
• Provide administrative support to Programs (i.e. correspondence, file management, co-ordinate staff meetings, orientation and training etc).
• Payroll processing and verifying of personal expense statements to meet set deadlines identified by the payroll schedule.
• Carrying the after-hours phone based on a rotating on-call schedule to cover evenings and weekends for clients and staff.

Qualifications and experience

• High School Graduate or equivalent
• Current Standard First Aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain
• Experience working with individuals with physical disabilities, older adults, or as an informal caregiver considered an asset but not required
• Good interpersonal communication, and problem-solving skills
• Physical Demand Self Analysis required upon hire
• Ability to work flexible and regularly scheduled hours
• Scheduling experience an asset
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation REQUIRED
