Warehouse Worker II - Part Time - On Call

Part-time, on-call warehouse position at Thermo Fisher Scientific in Whitby, Ontario involving product handling, material management, and inventory operations. Standard Monday-Friday hours, 10:00am-6:30pm, with physical demands including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing throughout shifts.
Responsibilities
- Operate material handling equipment safely in warehouse with hazardous products
- Use RF devices and computer workstations to update warehouse and transportation systems
- Receive, put away, replenish, pick, pack, and ship orders; operate conveyor equipment
- Follow GMP, WHMIS, hazardous materials, and dangerous goods handling protocols
- Participate in cycle counts and physical inventory as needed; assist with assigned special projects
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED minimum
- One year of general warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to lift or lower goods up to 50 lbs from waist level
- Qualified operator certification for forklift, order picking truck, or reach truck
- Basic computer knowledge and proficiency with RF devices
- Flexibility with scheduling and task rotation
Compensation: $36,608–$49,150 annualized
