Experienced Prep Cook

Job Responsibility:

Responsibilities:- Assist in food preparation and cooking under the supervision of the Head Chef- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area and front room, including washing dishes, utensils, and equipment- Assist in receiving and storing food supplies and ingredients- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines- Help with food packaging- Support the kitchen staff in various tasks as needed

- Required to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Skills:- Previous experience working in a kitchen, preferably 5 years experience- Knowledge of basic food handling and preparation techniques- Familiarity with food safety regulations and guidelines- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately- Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 19 - 23 per week
