Creative Video Editor for Social Media

Elevate social media content with your video editing skills in this engaging role with Maria Killam. You'll collaborate closely with the Marketing Manager to create captivating Instagram and YouTube videos. Maria Killam seeks a video editor who excels in long-form and short-form editing. Bring your strong storytelling instincts, attention to hooks, and ability to work independently. You'll join a creative team to improve pacing and enhance Maria's natural voice while meeting production deadlines and organizing video files. Key Responsibilities:

Edit YouTube long-form videos and Instagram Reels
Recognize and enhance strong hooks in raw footage
Turn raw footage into compelling short-form content
Collaborate on content planning and team brainstorming
Integrate graphics, music, captions, and B-roll appropriately

Requirements:

Proven experience in video editing for social media
Ability to work independently and take constructive feedback
Strong understanding of storytelling and pacing
Creative approach to video content development
Familiarity with lifestyle or educational brands is a plus
