We are currently in search of a Content Marketing Coordinator to join our collaborative team and play a pivotal role in executing effective content marketing strategies.
What Do We Expect of You?
We are actively seeking a dedicated, full-time Content Marketing Coordinator to join our team in Winnipeg. In this position, reporting directly to the Marketing Manager, you will be tasked with developing and implementing diverse marketing materials for print, websites, digital platforms, social media, and other collateral to enhance brand awareness, engagement, lead generation, and ultimately, sales.
The ideal candidate should possess a distinctive blend of creative flair and be comfortable taking on various marketing responsibilities. Strong design skills, strategic thinking, organizational proficiency, and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects are essential. Candidates should also have a solid understanding of design principles, content creation practices, digital marketing channels, and the capability to analyze data for optimizing campaigns.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Creation of Marketing Print Materials: Design and layout Florist flyers, such as Valentine's, Spring, Fall, and Holiday, and grocery flyers. Design of sales sheets, flyers and prebooks for the sales and cuts team.
- Website Content Management: Help develop and optimize content for the company's website. This includes tasks reviewing and updating copy and assets.
- Content Creation: Produce engaging content for E-newsletters and Blog posts.
- Social Media Management: Help manage social media content on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and LinkedIn by developing and posting content and responding to follower inquiries.
- Creation of Digital Promotions: Design creatives and implement campaigns for Google Ads with a focus on our commercial target market. This involves monitoring to optimize campaigns.
- Research and Ideation: Research trends on social, online and print to help develop ideas and create content across our channels.
- Assist with Creative Direction: Work with the Marketing Manager to develop creative direction and help implement it at photoshoots for both traditional and digital media.
- Coordinate and Develop Content for Branches: Coordinate the distribution of Marketing Collateral to branches, whether it be print or digital materials. Respond and help develop branch-specific marketing materials.
- Other duties: perform other duties as needed.
What You Need for Success?
Must-haves:
- A bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, diploma in creative communications, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of prior marketing or similar experience preferred showcasing a demonstrated proficiency in design, content creation, marketing analysis, and consumer behaviour.
- Proficient in a wide range of technical tools, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Bridge), WordPress, Excel, Word, Publisher and Outlook.
- Experienced with email marketing programs like MailChimp and social media management platforms like Hootsuite. Familiarity with Google Ads and Google Analytics is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective communication with branch personnel, customers and vendors.
- Self-motivated, an excellent team player and can work independently and with others.
- Other duties as assigned.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in Photography or Videography.
- Experience in SEO.
- Knowledge of HTML and CSS Code.
- Knowledge of SAGE 300 (ACCPAC)s and CRM experience are assets.
- Experience in the floral industry is an asset.
