Summary:
Reporting to the Merchandise Sourcing Manager, the Proprietary Procurement Coordinator is responsible for the administration of proprietary branded product between the Canadian and US Category Management, Planning & Inventory teams. This position is responsible for purchasing selected items, maintaining item setup in the system, and ensuring accurate copy and specification information on items, costing and retail variances between Bass Pro Shop and Cabela's Canada product.
Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate product information, manual purchase order entry, purchase order adjustments, order acknowledgements, costing, and arrival date accuracy.
Escalation and follow-up of purchase order problems or issues with US and Canadian teams.
Communicate with the merchandise, planning, and inventory teams to ensure accurate information in systems.
Analyze branded product fill rates for the season and communicate receiving discrepancies to the appropriate teams.
Review US brokerage files for accurate shipment quantities against what was ordered.
Creation of purchase orders for US returns.
Other duties assigned by management.
Qualifications:
Strong verbal and written communication skill
Adapts to change in a fast paced, deadline oriented environment
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word)
Intermediate Excel skills
Understanding of logistical cycle in a retail environment
Ability to prioritize work and manage time well
Strong analytical and organization skills
Experience using SAP is preferred
