Lead Piping Engineer In Mining Sector Toronto

As part of WSP’s Energy, Resources & Industry team, you will oversee mechanical piping design packages, ensuring alignment with project objectives. Your role involves utilizing over 15 years of experience to develop specifications and provide mentorship to enhance the capability of junior engineers. Engage directly with clients and internal partners to solve engineering challenges effectively.
Key Responsibilities Manage and lead piping design from concept through engineering
Develop systems for safe and productive operations
Collaborate across disciplines to meet project needs
Conduct thorough reviews of designs and documentation
Mentor intermediate engineers for skill development
Requirements Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
At least 15 years of experience in industrial projects
P.Eng. designation or eligibility in Canada
Proven expertise in engineering problem-solving
Proficient in design and modeling software
