Senior Property Accounting Specialist

Lead financial operations as a Senior Property Accounting Specialist, ensuring accurate financial reporting for commercial properties and supporting strategic financial decisions. Your role will encompass managing the complete accounting cycle for properties, from journal entries to variances in financial statements. You will collaborate with various teams to enhance financial insights and drive effective reporting practices. Strong analytical skills will be crucial for tackling complex accounting tasks. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee full monthly property accounting cycle
- Prepare financial statements and analyze variances
- Manage fixed asset module and amortization entries
- Address audit queries and assist with property tax appeals
- Lead full cycle financial forecasts and budgets
- 2-3 years in property accounting needed
- University degree in Accounting or a related field
- High proficiency in Excel and Yardi experience
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
