Night AuditorReporting to the Director of Guest Services, the Night Auditor handles guest arrivals during the night shift, provides customer service, manages front desk operations, performs administrative closeouts, and prepares reports.
Main ResponsibilitiesDeliver excellent customer service.
Process check-ins and check-outs efficiently and professionally.
Know the city and its attractions to inform guests about cultural activities and points of interest.
Handle complaints positively and professionally.
Maintain high customer service standards at all times.
Perform all night audit accounting tasks and complete daily reports.
Follow established hotel procedures and policies.
Balance cash registers and credit cards.
Close out the day in the system.
Handle various daily tasks and projects.
Plan and organize reservations from emails, phone calls, faxes, and websites, while updating room availability records.
Ensure safety of premises and guests overnight.
Make critical decisions in emergencies.
Forward unprocessed guest special requests to the incoming front desk supervisor.
Exercise discretion and respect guest confidentiality.
Perform any other related duties enthusiastically.
DEP in hospitality, diploma in hotel management techniques, or accounting.
Relevant front desk experience in a hotel setting.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Spoken and written French and English.
Knowledge of property management systems is an asset.
Strong analytical and accounting skills.
Good approach with guests.
Professional attitude.
Leadership.
Sense of responsibility, organization, initiative, and high autonomy.
Full-time or part-time position.
Night shift from 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM.
Possibility of day or evening shifts as a Front Desk Agent.
Mandatory availability for Friday and Saturday nights.
