Responsibilities
The night auditor is responsible for the security, guest service, and administrative management of the hotel during the night. They provide excellent customer service, perform the daily accounting verification (night audit), and prepare financial and occupancy reports for management.
Complete all the accounting tasks of the night audit.
Verify and correct the daily transactions, update and print the guest hotel bill.
Sort the daily transactions and produce the daily reports.
Balance the accounts and close the business day for the front desk and the restaurant.
Produce the daily revenue report.
Answer the phone and transfer calls.
Take reservations and proceed to the check-ins and check-outs of guests.
Deal with guests’ complaints.
Respond promptly and efficiently to guests’ requests and requests from other departments (sales, front desk, banquets, maintenance, etc.).
All other tasks related to the front desk.
Requirements (experience)
Bilingual spoken and written (French and English). (Prerequisite)
Previous experience as front desk or night auditor agent in the hotel industry is an asset
Must be able to work on changing schedules (availability Friday, Saturday and Sunday night). (Prerequisite)
Knowledgeable with computer and new technologies. (Prerequisite)
Previous experience as a night is an asset.
