Scope

Reporting to the Transportation Accounting Manager, the incumbent of the role is responsible for verify vendor (carriers') accounts payable invoices and bill customer AR invoices.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manual input of all non-EDI invoices into TMS.
• Auditing of all ‘NoMatch' EDI invoices in TMS.
• Auditing of all ‘Audit Review' EDI invoices in TMS.
• Investigate the Carrier EDI invoices before approving the accessorial charges.
• Monitor and track transportation costs, expenses, and revenues with in the TMS, identifying discrepancies or anomalies.
• Manual invoices verified and processed in 3GTMS.
• Follow-up collection and issue credit memo if necessary .
• AP-TMS general mailbox and allocate emails to the team.
• Accurate daily 3TMS import reports in Accpac and post the import batch on time.
• Investigate issues with IT to seek solutions of incidents.
• Reconcile any outstanding discrepancies from carriers.
• Payment processing for both Transportation and Expedite by Wire/EFT.
• Send the payment remittance through each vendor .
• Reconciling vendors statements to make sure that payments are applied accurately.
• Process the weekly Pirelli accessorial report.
• Create a monthly Pirelli transportation Freight and Fuel report and communicate with the transportation team for
• any discrepancies.
• Analyze the Pirelli transportation costs and expenses, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency
• improvement.
• Complete the Pirelli billing by Day 4 and confirm it with the customer success and transportation team.
• Support internal and external compliance related to transportation finances, providing accurate documentation and
• explanations as required.
• Assist in developing and implementing internal controls and processes to mitigate financial risks associated with
• transportation activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as logistics, customer success and finance, to gather and analyze data.
• Resolve issues and optimize financial processes.
• Assist in providing training and support to TMS users, ensuring proper understanding and utilization of the system's
• financial functionalities.
• Accruals for TMS Purchases and revenue on the monthly basis.
• Analyze Accrual detail list from TMS and minimize the balance of accrued liability.
• Compare the carrier's SOA with accrued liability and take the necessary action to correct the accrual.
• Review the variance on Quarterly basis.
• Suggest improvements to procedures for automation in TMS.
• Carrier Payment Solution
• Reconcile Costs/Revenue: TMS vs ACCPAC (P/L related)
• Participate month end procedures in PiVAL & Walter
• Identify & facilitate process improvement projects to drive efficiency
