Sales Team Leader - Service

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

Mettler Toledo is seeking a Service Sales Team Leader to lead and develop our Inside Sales, Territory Sales, and Field Sales teams. This role is responsible for driving sales performance, coaching and developing team members, optimizing sales processes, and ensuring alignment across sales, marketing, and service functions. The successful candidate will play a key role in achieving revenue targets, enhancing customer experience, and fostering collaboration across the organization. What You'll Do:

• Lead, coach, and develop Inside Sales, Territory Sales, and Field Sales teams to achieve revenue growth and exceed performance targets.
• Drive sales execution through effective pipeline management, opportunity conversion, forecasting, and customer engagement strategies.
• Monitor and improve team performance through coaching, training, KPI tracking, and ongoing talent development.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, service, and support teams to optimize processes, improve customer experience, and drive cross-functional alignment.
• Ensure CRM data integrity, compliance with company policies, and provide leadership with insights, performance updates, and recommendations to support business objectives.

What You Need to Succeed

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university is required
• Previous leadership experience; must have and must model a sense of urgency to all reports 
• Competitive nature with the desire to excel in a fast paced sales environment.
• Significant experience with ERP and/or CRM systems; SAP preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to make presentations and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills. 
• Strategic thinking, and willingness to do so within a collaborative team environment.
