Business Management SME

We are currently seeking instructors to support Innivec's continued vision of providing top-notch education services to our students.

Description:

The SME will consult with the program submissions team and Senior Management team for all Business Management related programs.

Responsibilities:

• Review proposed curriculum materials from the curriculum development team.
• Make change recommendations to the curriculum based on professional experience.
• Consult with the program submissions team, Campus Director, Senior Academic Administrator, and the program submissions department head.
• Fill out the program evaluation report.
• Visit the campus to do site suitability and infrastructure checks for the program.
• Submitting program evaluation report to the BC Ministry of Education Private Branch (PTIB).

Qualifications and Education:

• Diploma or Degree in a related field
• 2 to 5 years of related field experience
• Master's degree or equivalent is an asset

Theory Courses/Lab and Practice Experience:

• Professional Accounting Designation (CA, CMA, CGA, CPA) (Canada) is strongly recommended.
• Recent/relevant work experience (2 years) in an accountancy related business environment.
• Demonstrates valuing diversity and intercultural competence
• Demonstrated competence and recent experience in the use of the internet, e-mail, MS Office Suite software and/or the ability to learn and adapt to changing technology.
• Previous curriculum and program development experience is considered an asset.
• Proven experience supervising students, providing support and feedback in constructive and meaningful manners is highly desirable.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to communicate complex information to students both orally and written in an understandable manner.
• Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion when interacting with students and colleagues.
• Capable of working independently as well as being part of a team.
• Being able to work under pressure/fast-paced environment and deliver on scheduled deadlines.
• Working hours depends on the completion of project only

Compensation:

• This will be a contract position that will pay $250.00 to $400.00 Canadian per project.
