Business Development Manager – Commercial Services

Location: Vancouver, BC / Metro Vancouver
Base Salary: $85,000–$105,000
Target Earnings: $140,000–$180,000+
Commission: Uncapped
Full-Time

Invictus Northwest Group is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to grow our commercial client base across Metro Vancouver.

We provide asphalt maintenance, winter management and hydrovac services to commercial properties and multi-site portfolios. This gives our sales team multiple services to offer throughout the year, recurring contract opportunities and strong potential to grow accounts over time.

This is a hands-on business development role for someone who enjoys prospecting, meeting clients, building long-term relationships and closing commercial business.

What You'll Do

• Develop new commercial and multi-property accounts throughout Metro Vancouver
• Build relationships with property managers, facility managers, owners, developers and other decision-makers
• Prospect and identify new business opportunities
• Meet clients and visit commercial properties to understand their service needs
• Work with our estimating and operations teams to prepare effective proposals
• Present, negotiate and close commercial contracts
• Develop year-round opportunities across asphalt, winter management and hydrovac
• Expand existing client relationships into additional Invictus services
• Maintain an organized and active sales pipeline
• Build a profitable, recurring book of business

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of B2B business development, outside sales or commercial sales experience
• Demonstrated experience developing new accounts and closing business
• Experience in commercial property services, construction, facility services, paving, landscaping, snow removal, restoration or a related industry is strongly preferred
• Strong communication, relationship-building and negotiation skills
• Comfortable prospecting and opening new accounts rather than only managing existing clients
• Able to work independently while collaborating with estimating and operations teams
• Comfortable managing multiple opportunities and maintaining an organized sales pipeline
• Valid driver's licence and ability to travel throughout Metro Vancouver

This is an in-person, field-based position serving Metro Vancouver . Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada and able to regularly travel to client locations throughout the Lower Mainland.
