Aramark is Seeking a Cook for the Food Service Operation at Résidence l’Amitié in Montréal
POSITION : Cook
LOCATION : Résidence l’Amitié (9167 Gouin Boulevard, Montréal, QC H4K 2E2)
SALARY : $25.00/hour
SCHEDULE / HOURS: To be discussed during the interview. Must be available from Thursday to Sunday. Full-time position.
START DATE: Immediately
Job Responsibilities
- Assist the Chef in the preparation of the daily menu
- Cook and finish menu items
- Participating in meal service
- Catering preparation experience is an asset
- Demonstrate creativity while meeting client requirements
- Ensure the quality of food services and customer satisfaction
- Optimize food and labor costs
- Ensure the implementation of programs related to management, health, food hygiene, and food safety
- Monitor and maintain service quality and customer satisfaction
- Participate in the monthly inventory
Qualifications
- 2 to 3 years of experience in food service or the restaurant industry is an asset
- Strong leadership skills
- Demonstrate diligence and a methodical approach in daily work
- MAPAQ Food Hygiene and Sanitation Certificate is an asset
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Ability to work independently
- Positive attitude
- Customer service oriented
- Bilingualism is an asset, as some of our customers are English-speaking
