Line Cook / Grill Cook - Opening Team
New Portuguese-Inspired Restaurant Opening Soon — Montréal
A new Portuguese-inspired fast-casual restaurant is preparing to open in Montréal, and we are looking for a Line Cook / Grill Cook to join our opening kitchen team.
Our concept is built around simple, flavourful Portuguese food, grilled meats, sandwiches and dishes prepared with quality ingredients and strong attention to consistency. We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen and takes pride in producing great food every service.
ResponsibilitiesWork primarily on the grill and hot line
Prepare and cook meats, sandwiches and other menu items according to established recipes and standards
Complete daily mise en place and station preparation
Maintain consistent cooking temperatures, portions and presentation
Work efficiently during high-volume service periods
Communicate closely with the kitchen team to keep orders moving quickly and accurately
Receive, store and rotate products following proper food-handling procedures
Maintain a clean, organized and well-stocked workstation
Follow food safety, sanitation and workplace safety standards
Assist with opening and closing kitchen duties
Support other kitchen stations when required

What We Are Looking For
Previous experience as a line cook, grill cook or similar kitchen position
Comfortable working with a high-temperature grill and cooking different cuts of meat
Strong sense of organization and urgency
Ability to maintain quality and consistency during busy services
Reliable, punctual and team-oriented
Good understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety
Ability to work evenings and weekends as required
Experience with Portuguese cuisine, charcoal grilling, rotisserie or high-volume fast-casual kitchens is considered an asset, but is not mandatory.
