Part-Time Family Assistant / Household Helper (Burlington, ON) We’re a busy, fun-loving family looking for someone special to become part of our home. We’re searching for an energetic, positive, and dependable person who enjoys working with children and takes pride in helping a household run smoothly. This is a live-in, full time position based in Burlington, ON, with a start date at the end of August. Compensation starts at $20/hour, with pay very negotiable based on experience. We’re hoping to find someone who is looking for a long-term position and wants to become a trusted part of our family’s life. What you’ll help with:

• Caring for our children when needed
• Planning fun crafts and age-appropriate activities
• Preparing healthy lunches and snacks
• Light housekeeping and general tidying
• Meal preparation
• Running errands
• Occasional care for our two friendly dogs
• Helping with the day-to-day tasks that keep our home organized

We spend part of our winters in Florida, so the ideal candidate must be able to travel to the United States and be comfortable joining us during those trips. We’re looking for someone who:

• Has a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Is legally able to work in Canada and has a valid Social Insurance Number (SIN) (this is a payroll position—we are not hiring for cash work)
• Is eligible to travel to the U.S.
• Is proactive and notices what needs to be done without being asked
• Loves spending time with young children and enjoys planning creative activities
• Is organized, trustworthy, and reliable
• Brings a positive attitude and great energy to our home
