Ontario Transit Group - Ontario Line - Southern Civil, Stations & Tunnel
Take the lead as a Lifting Supervisor with Ferrovial Construction Canada Inc. This role involves coordinating lifting operations and ensuring safety compliance on the Ontario Line project. With over 10 years of experience in construction lifting operations, you will oversee tower cranes, mobile cranes, and other equipment to guarantee efficient on-site performance. Your strong knowledge of lifting standards and supervisory skills will be crucial in executing best practices and enhancing team performance. Effective collaboration with engineers and logistics teams ensures lifting activities align with project goals. Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee all lifting operations and team activities
• Develop and enforce safety protocols for lifting equipment
• Plan and allocate resources for lifting tasks
• Conduct pre-shift inspections of machinery
• Monitor and report on equipment and team performance Requirements:
• 10+ years in construction lifting departments
• Valid Appointed Person Certification required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Strong knowledge of lifting regulations and best practices
