Job Summary
This position will report to the Senior Finance Manager of the Protect Platform Finance team and support the AML Tech & Operational Resilience/Physical Security groups. The role involves end‑to‑end Financial Planning & Analysis and acts as a trusted business advisor to leadership, ensuring operational objectives align with financial targets to drive shareholder value.
Compensation
Base salary: $96,900 – $136,800 CAD (annual). This position is eligible for discretionary variable compensation tied to company and individual performance.
Core Responsibilities
- Work with business and cross‑functional partners to build annual budgets and quarterly forecast updates.
- Develop and manage planning and forecast outputs, ensuring accurate assumptions and communicating budget adherence, variances, and risks to stakeholders.
- Analyze monthly financial results versus budget and forecast, identifying key insights, variance drivers, and trends.
- Prepare and present financial presentation packages to senior leaders (at least monthly).
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls through thorough review and necessary ledger entries.
- Conduct ad‑hoc analyses such as business case reviews and update financial models to reflect organizational changes.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance financial reporting insights, transparency, and reduce cycle times.

Education & Professional Experience Requirements
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
- Completion or active pursuit of CPA, CFA, or other relevant financial designation is an asset.
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in Management Reporting, Financial Analytics, or Accounting.
- Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and financial reporting systems such as Hyperion SmartView, Oracle Business Intelligence; PowerBI experience is a plus.
Location & Hours
Toronto, Ontario, Canada – 37.5 hours per week. The role requires onsite presence four days a week, with flexibility to adjust days in the office as business needs dictate.
