About the Opportunity
The Radiation Therapist accurately and precisely prepares a cancer patient and their chart for administration of a course of radiation treatments. The Radiation Therapist will function as a key member of the Cancer Treatment Team and is expected to rotate through radiation treatment preparation, simulation, mould room, dosimetry, and treatment delivery.
Responsibilities
- Prepares cancer patients and charts for radiation treatment courses.
- Functions as a key member of the Cancer Treatment Team.
- Rotates through radiation treatment preparation, simulation, mould room, dosimetry, and treatment delivery.
Qualifications
- Upcoming Graduate or Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy Program in Canada or a recognized non‑Canadian program.
- Registration or eligibility for registration with the Nova Scotia Association of Medical Radiation Technologists and Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists.
